Queen Size Memory Foam Mattress (60 x 80)

Every mattress comes with a (removable, fireproof) mattress cover.

Underneath every cover, there is a two layer system in these memory foam mattresses like the diagram shown. The two layers are laminated together using a special bonding agent designed exclusively for bonding memory foam.

The top layer is a Open Cell Memory Foam that will respond to your body temperature and weight, reducing pressure points and creating a perfect mix of comfort and support for an overall better sleeping experience. These memory foam mattresses are made with the EXACT same memory foam that the "big named" foam mattress makers use with an ILD of 9-11.

The bottom support layer is a high density, high ILD polyurethane memory foam created specifically for support in a bedding setting. This ensures the long life of the mattress.

  1. Comfy Bed

Posted by Unknown on 3rd May 2011

We bought one of these a year ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. I was having serious disc issues in my back, and the traditional mattress I was sleeping on was only making it worse. I'm pretty heavy, and I have very wide hips, which meant that nearly any position I slept in was torquing my back just above the hips.

I went back and forth over which mattress to order, and finally settled on the 8 inch, as I was afraid I'd have a hard time climbing out of a 12 inch, and I can always add a topper to a thinner one. I haven't regretted it. I will occasionally feel the platform through the mattress by morning, but no so much that it makes my night miserable. It just makes me get up when its time to get up. Meantime, the thinner mattress makes it easier to get up and down from the bed.

This bed is also pretty temperature sensitive, which was one of my concerns with a thicker mattress. We don't have AC in our house, so in the summer it can get pretty soft. I was afraid it would get so soft that I wouldn't be able to get out of it, or that I'd be so encased in it as to be really stinking hot if I got the thicker mattress. What I've found is that its no hotter than a traditional mattress in summer. It can get pretty hard on cold winter nights when we turn the furnace down at night, but it softens up through the night as we sleep on it.

Meantime, it has helped my back so much that I'm not longer needing PT or a night roll to sleep with. I'm getting really good sleep on it, and so is my husband. I built my own bedstead for it, out of building grade plywood sanded on one side, basically two big boxes screwed together, with dividers through the middle, and drawers on casters that slide under it. Losing the box spring from the old bed bought me enough space for an under bed dresser that is bigger than my traditional dresser. In a tiny house like ours, that is a huge help.

After over a year of use, I can't see that the mattress has broken down in any way. It still sleeps as good as the first night. I highly recommend this bed.
